A large part of the Land Use Planning Process is consultation. Consultation
is defined in the Interim Measures Agreement as:
(a) "Providing,
to the party to be consulted:
(i) Notice
of the matter in sufficient form and detail to allow the party
to prepare its views on the matter;
(ii) A reasonable
period for the party to prepare those views; and
(iii) An opportunity
to present those views to the party having the power or duty to
consult; and
(b) Considering,
fully and impartially, the views so presented."

We see this as an excellent opportunity to build strong, productive
relationships with everyone involved in this process and believe the
Plan will be greatly improved by the input and feedback received.
Consultation will begin once the information gathering stage is completed.
We will be taking this information out to the communities and stakeholders
for presentation and discussion, and asking for your feedback on the
information gathered and the next steps to be taken in the process.
In the meantime, feel free to call us or visit us to discuss our activities
or share your thoughts. You can also contact us via our contact
